    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

One of the easiest classes to stay on top of! You will find that weekly 10 question quizzes and one final that is made up from similar quiz questions is much less stressful than having 4 big exams throughout the semester.

    Course highlights:

An overall general understanding of many interesting biology concepts. My favorites being genetics and evolution. Not to mention, the professor is very kind and engaging!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't rush through the homework, take time to go through your notes and use online resources and you are sure to get a great score. Also, take some time each week maybe the day before or morning of each weekly quiz to go through that weeks homework assignment and review notes, then you are sure to do well on all quizzes!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is an exciting and humor filled professor! It's a great and very interesting class to take for a general education science course. It gives you a great insight to a large variety of topics. She doesn't believe in exams, so instead you take a ten question quiz a week and it's a super nice trade off. Take this course if you're on the edge about deciding whether to go into science or not.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me were her humor and the fun facts she would tell us to help us remember things. My favorite fact is that whales derives from wolves!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you can, read the book, some of the stuff she doesn't fully cover is in the book and shows up on quizzes. The book helps you get a better understanding of things, especially if you're struggling understanding a section. You definitely don't have to read it religiously, but every once in a while helps to make a big difference.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She was very nice and she didn't make you nervous to office hours. She was really helpful and offered greater explanation when I didn't understand. Biology is a hard topic but she broke it down in small pieces so I could grasp it better.

    Course highlights:

This course is mostly a general education course and it's understandable when kids don't actually want to be in it. But she is very lenient with grades. She gives you a lot of different ways to remember the information. She also post the tegritys online so that helps.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be scared to take it if you aren't good at biology. Go to office hours and get a tutor if you really need to. There is nothing wrong with asking for help.
