Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Well first off, I would recommend it because it was a required course. Secondly, though, the lectures are so entertaining you won't want to miss out!

    Course highlights:

Learn about court cases involving your favorite celebrities, world famous court cases and more! Also, you'll walk away with knowledge on how NOT to get in trouble as a journalist.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the online notes and practice the court cases and "tests" every day! You'll have the facts down solidly for the exams and will walk away with an easy A.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I really like Communications Law. The class is super informative and I can honestly say I have learned a ton this semester. It's important for journalism students to take this course because it will keep us out of legal trouble further down the road in our careers.

    Course highlights:

Sandy Davidson, the professor for this course, is great. She is SO knowledgeable and a great professor. Sometimes the information is complicated and it can be hard to understand during lecture but she posts everything on blackboard which really helps.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

First of all it's an elective for all J-School students. I would say to stay on top of your stuff. If you fall behind at all it can be hard to catch back up. The course contains a ton of info and it can seem overwhelming at times.
