Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took the Honors version of the Elementary Spanish I course. I found it to be challenging at times, as we read a novel in Spanish, but it is a challenge that is very rewarding, as it helps boost your understanding of the language.

    Course highlights:

A basic beginning of the language is what you will learn in this course. Applications of the language are explored through reading a novel. We were able to do a creative project pertaining to the novel where we were free to choose the medium.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have taken a Spanish I class in high school, most of this course is likely to be review, even though it was an Honors Course. If you haven't taken any foreign language, Spanish is a good choice as it is not too hard if you put in the effort.
