Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great way of of learning about what is going on in the world -- economy wise. This course teaches you how to make daily decisions which seem easy at a glance but once you get deep into the book you will realize that they are important.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the importance of calculating the marginal utility of goods, the opportunity cost balance among the decisions that we make when we spend money. Also, I learned about the big problem the world has regarding scarcity and so many other interesting things.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not work and take two classes over the summer -- especially if it is this one. Even though it is not a super tough class, it requires you to have plenty of time to respond to the discussion board, do the final paper ( which you do throughout the semester ) and take the test which are pretty long ( 3 hr tests)
