Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Prof. Meng is great at instructing how to set up each paper. We read 5 novels throughout the year, we have discussions and watch movies to help format our papers.

    Course highlights:

Highlights included availability for individual help from the professor and all the discussions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend you work in your time management. While we are given a whole semester to work on a research paper you must plan ahead to start it so you don't do it the night before it's due!

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor was okay. His voice lulls you to sleep but he knows what hes talking about. Just try to take a midday class if you take it with him. He's a very easy grader, which is good if you're not good at writing essays (like me) or can never meet the word count (like me).

    Course highlights:

The best part was Beloved because it was a modern book instead of a difficult greek play or shakespeare like the first three assignments were. We learned about slavery and stuff but mainly we learned about ghost babies.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book. If you don't do well with older plays and such then sparknote it before you read it. Makes it so much easier to understand when you know whats going on.
