    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend taking any class with this professor. I took it with her online and it was awful. I had to constantly count my points to make sure she didn't take any that weren't supposed to be. Not only that, but she didn't respond to emails within an appropriate time window.

    Course highlights:

The only highlight of this course was the programming challenges. It forced me to learn how to program efficiently very quickly, as well as get acclimated to using the oracle Java catalog.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid of the amount of work you have to do. You, and only you, are responsible for your grade in the course, and don't expect any leeway from the professor.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not only was this course a wonderful introduction to the world of programming, the teacher was absolutely incredible. I would recommend Cynthia to anyone looking for a good teacher for programming because she broke every complex problem up into easy to understand language so that the students could easily grasp and reproduce what she did. I did not feel like I was struggling through the material ever because she always made sure that we were all on the same page before moving on.

    Course highlights:

We started off using raptor which is a visual way to learn to program, then we moved to UML diagrams which were slightly more code oriented, then we moved into actually using java and we learned enough to write some probably more basic programs, but we were programming nonetheless, and we also learned how to search for methods that we could use to implement into our code

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Never skip class. The teacher was most of what made the class easy to understand.
