Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love Professor Broadwick, she’s always there to help and she really wants to see her students succeed.

    Course highlights:

In Unit one I learned about how relatable it is for me to be at community college before I can flourish in a 4 year institution because of my financial need. Unit 2 I learned that its hard for people of all cultures to understand and communicate with each other when not everyone is open minded and willing to learn a new language to benefit everyone. Finally unit 3, we are currently learning about how to discriminate between fake news and real news online and what makes an article or website a good source.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to read because if you don’t read along with the course schedule then you can’t make it past the semester. Don’t procrastinate and you’ll have a lot of fun during in class discussions.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The lady was tougher than necessary. I wanted to quit college when I had her as a teacher. But you have to push through and know that you can pass English 101 no matter how mean the professor acts.

    Course highlights:

Getting the grade of an A was bittersweet. I learned to never give up and always go to the dean for help if your professor is being unfair.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You can pass this course. Just get in the habit of writing and develop a love of reading.
