    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would 100% recommend this course to any new coming student. I believe everyone starting college needs this course, which is probably why it is a mandatory class. It is such an important course. I have learned about everything from becoming organized in college to financial aid. Professor Griner is amazing. She grades very quickly. There are quizzes that are more personality related, so that you get a chance to self observe. Definitely a class I would take again if I needed to.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are endless. I actually look forward to tests and quizzes with this class. I have learned about student debt, the best note taking that works for me, and knowing how to handle the overwhelming feelings you get from being new to college.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If it wasn't mandatory, I would still suggest taking it. You learn things that will help you in other classes and how to balance school, work, and family. I would advise actually soaking in all the information you can from this class, because it is very useful. I would take what you learn from this class and apply it to other classes. I would suggest showing up to every class because if you don't you are simply hurting yourself and missing out on valuable information.
