    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is required for first year students. I didn't see the need for it at first. After finishing the semester, I left with a plethora of useful tips to use throughout the next 4 years of college. Everything from organization, to navigating the college website, word, excel, PowerPoint, advisors, on-campus groups, etc. My professor was also very caring and was there for you no matter what (about ACDV or other college courses). He was funny, helpful and I definitely recommend if you are required to take ACDV at CCBC Catonsville.

    Course highlights:

Organization, job related skills, computer navigation, college website navigation, how to work in groups, how to budget in and out of college,

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend the class. It may seem useless or boring even, but in the long run you'll look back like "oh I learned this in ACDV" . Always better to go in with an ear as if you know nothing , maybe you'll learn something. Maybe you won't but it's an easy class. Show up. Do your work and there's 1 credit out the way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because my professor Ms. Jones honestly cared about the students' grades and their college plans. She would push us to our potential so we could see the great things we as students were capable of.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is that the work was easy to do. I learned how to get over test taking anxiety and how procrastinating will eventually lead to failure. The course focused on how to prepare for your life later in college.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The day before class, go over your notes and read the material so you have an idea of what will be talked about in the class. Also do your assignments on time.
