    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

As a Business Management major it is imperative to understand he applicable laws to effectively run a business. This course provides the foundation of the many relevant laws. I strongly recommend that anyone in the field of business take this course, regardless of your level of employment and or status.

    Course highlights:

Although have yet to complete this course, I would stress that I've learned the importance of "ethics". Business ethics go beyond the scope of business laws and ultimately hold the business accountable for business practices at a much higher level. Although business laws often have "gray" areas that may not legally hold a business accountable for specific unethical business practices, there may be financial and reputable ramifications that will ultimately hurt the business in question.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Although I took this course online, I wish that I had taken it in the classroom. If I were in the classroom I would have been able to get the opinions and perspectives of my fellow classmates and work through and problems with my professor. In this particular class my professor only communicates by the grade that you get. I believe that to enable me to get a good grade, I need to do all necessary reading, take good notes, review any information presented to the class and when in doubt, ask questions.
