Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although many of my friends don't enjoy the same subjects as me, everyone, me and my friends, enjoyed our college Introduction to Psychology class. Dr. Benedek, our teacher, is really interesting and knowledgeable. Not only does he teach us the required information to complete this course, but he also explains real-life situations in which he, as a psychologist, has taken part. Dr. Benedek is always happy to answer questions, never wastes his students' time (since he is always teaching), and continuously encourages class participation.

    Course highlights:

While taking this course, I learned much about how human brains work and their physiological makeup. I learned about diseases that I had never heard of, including BDS. I learned more efficient ways of studying. And I learned how lucky I am to be a healthy teenager growing up in a world full of hardships.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen well in class. Learning from educated professors is worth the time and effort.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was not only fascinating and intellectual stimulating, but remained so in a relaxed, warm atmosphere. Furthermore, the information learned is integral for understanding others and can greatly enhance relationships.

    Course highlights:

Through this course, I came to appreciate the human brain and therefore I became more accepting of different kind of minds and more loving to all of humanity. Additionally, as part of the research paper assignment, I learned how to gather and prepare information so well in order to relay the information to others.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Many students tend to experience a level of anxiety or worry when it comes to tests because of the vast amount of material on them. But, as the professor suggests himself, for those who have difficulty memorizing, they should develop a successful studying method. Specifically, reviewing the notes before each class.
