    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend taking her class online. Being an English class, the course very general and easily be completed independently. The syllabus is very well structures and assignments are given a reasonable amount of time before they are due. Even though this is an online class, the professor is always an e-mail away and is very good at getting back to your questions or concerns. She is also willing to help by looking over essays before due dates. When it came around to applying for an Honors Program, I need an essay from a previous course. I had lost record of my papers, but even being months after, she was able to retrieve the essay for me and look over the letter I had to write for the program.

    Course highlights:

Being still in high school, I had never fully experienced a full on college course yet. This professor was very understanding and was able to answer any question I had about the course. She also was able to provide well in-depth videos that explain essay structure and how to cite my work, a skill I had yet to have learned.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

One piece of advice I would give to someone considering taking this course would be to make sure that you keep up with the reading schedule. The teacher has provided a reasonable time line to make sure you finish your book by and if you follow to the schedule, you will be just fine and you will do fine on the essays.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class was very challenging but it was very helpful in constructing essays properly. The professor was tough but it made everyone work harder.

    Course highlights:

I learned the proper way to format essays using MLA format. I also learned about the different forms of criticism and how you can use criticisms to critique a literary work in an essay. I didn't just learn academic lessons but I learned life lessons. I learned that you won't always have someone there to hold your hand so it's important to gain independence in college.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is important to read the syllabus completely so that you are not alarmed by the professor's style of teaching. You should always come to class prepared. If there was something you needed to read before the next class, read it because you will be asked questions about it and could possibly have a pop quiz on it. Always be prepared and use your online materials on blackboard.
