    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because everything the professor teaches so relates it to a current event happening in the world right now and she makes it very fun and interesting

    Course highlights:

This course went by very quick because I only took the 6 week course but in those 6 weeks I learned more than I ever did in a full year of a high school government classz

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

US government is an important course. Everyone should be informed about how our government works and the people who represent us. We should participate in our government in order to be active citizens who participate in our democracy.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the Constitution and it's articles and amendments, the Declaration of Independence, the electoral college and how our president gets elected, how our democracy works, and the way our government works. I learned about the three brandes of government and the roles and responsibilities of each branch and about our system of checks and balances to ensure one branch doesnt have too much power or more power than the other branches.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and you will find it interesting. Write notes, study the notes, participate actively in the class and you will succeed

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because even if you're like me and absolutely dread topics such as government and politics, you will still find yourself intrigued with Professor Kaplan's teachings.

    Course highlights:

What I gained was a very unbiased and simple way of learning about our United States government. Professor Kaplan took one of my least favorites subjects and turned it into something I'd see myself enjoying learning more about. He's really funny and extremely kind, I wish more professors were like him.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read the textbook and never skip any homework because when it catches up to you, there is little you can do to save your grade. Also study for your tests using his test "cheat sheets" and take them seriously.
