    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Rabbat is a great teacher. My course was accelerated which can feel overwhelming, however he has a way of helping you keep up with the lessons that need to be covered. Just don't miss a day of this short 6 week course if you can help it!

    Course highlights:

This course helped me to feel more prepared entering into the more challenging courses to come. Math is vital in any case but especially on my career path.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Try to keep up with the computer work on Aleks. Study lecture notes but the worksheet should be a main study guide. And don't be afraid to ask for help with a question.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would, if it is needed as a remedial course. It served as very practical and helpful for me.

    Course highlights:

I learned basic-intermediate algebra, and freshened up on topics that I learned in high school. It served to not be too much of a challenge for me.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, write down all of the problems done in class, and work through them along with the class. This will be a great reference tool for the future when preparing for tests!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course supplies everything needed in order for the students to succeed. With video tutorials, test preparation packages and the online Aleks personal path, students can be sure that they'll be fully prepared by the time of the final exam.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned how to work Algebraic expressions, exponents, how to work with fractions, Polynomials and Factoring, Linear Equations, Lines and Functions, Inequalities, Radicals

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, you'll want to complete the test preparation and review packages. They include everything you need to know for each test. On your own time, you have to work through Aleks, an interactive online tool which customizes your own math path to complete by the end of the course. Furthermore, if you need help, there are many tutorial videos available to watch and of course, the math lab.
