Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because you learn the history of African American History and more. You learn about Egypt, the gods and goddesses that made history. You leave the class with more than just the concept that slavery is what made up the History of African Americans.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were mainly the great discussions that took place in this course. Listening to other classmates' views towards the history of African American was an eye-opener for myself. Not only did i learn from my professor but i also learned from my fellow peers and classmates.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I think the best advice you can give to succeed in this course to stay focus and be open to the material being taught. Read and try to understand the text so you can have more knowledge about the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is an amazing teacher and human being. He really cares. He learned all of our names despite teaching multiple classes. He was sure to help each student individually when he felt that we need it. He pushes us to do better and didn't hesitate to critique us in my professional manner.

    Course highlights:

You learn a lot about yourself and the secrets our country sweep under the rug. I enjoyed working with my classmates to complete multiple projects and completing the weekly journal entries. The entries helped expand my mind and helped to improve my critical thinking.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be on top of your game. It is easy to fall behind- especially if you have multiple classes and work a full time job.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I, as well as many other students at Broward College, respect this man. He teaches us about our roots while empowering us to excel and support one another in our community. He doesn't just lecture us. He practices what he preaches through community outreach, starting up performances to honor black pride.

    Course highlights:

I learned that black people contributed more than the textbooks say.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just attend lecture and do your assessments.
