Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I decided to take Business Calculus during my second semester of College, because I had College Algebra knowledge fresh. Additionally, as I enrolled in that class I was not confident of my success. Weeks after the class started, Professor Chionilos taught me a lot. She was not like a regular math professor, she put enormous effort on making her students understand the material of the course. Not only that, she also created packets of every section of the material for us and she managed to provide everything during 8 weeks. In the end, it was the best choice and I completely recommend to take MAC2233 with mentioned professor.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of MAC2233 were that the course only lasted 8 weeks but the students received everything they need to know. Also, this course helped me understand how the financial world works and I received mathematical tools I can us to calculate different motives. I feel confident to step into the Business world after taking this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I managed to succeed in MAC2233 by paying full attention in the class and asking all the questions I had. Also, taking extra time to review the material at the end of the week helped me. Another way is by going to tutoring and by going to the professor's office hours. If you put enough effort, it will pay off in the end.

The class is very helpful for business majors to help you get an understanding of how companies use this type of math to help run the business better.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is honestly being able to not just understanding how to do the math but to actually be able to see how this is used in real life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice i would give to student is always pay attention i the beginning and to be on track with the homework because while your learning the subject in class practicing the homework will really help later on especially on test.
