    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Open atmosphere, most delightful professor on campus! The class was filled with diverse creative individuals. I learned the art of brevity in writing, as well as the power of ambiguity. Professor Joyce pushes everyone in the class--creative writer or not--to express themselves in their own unique way. You are only required to submit two portfolios in place of a midterm and final--and you must submit to the college's literary magazine, P'an Ku (it's for a grade!).

    Course highlights:

The highlights definitely included writing vignettes for the last few weeks. The class got to write scenarios and listen to others, some fun, some interesting.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Actually try to create something great, and be true to yourself. This is an easy class but it's actually fun when you put in effort.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you love writing, and overall want to learn more then it's a great course to take. You go from poems all the way to plays. It's extraordinary

    Course highlights:

It taught me how to edit many of my pieces, and be more out of the box. The fact the course was online made it easier to take criticism and understand many of the assignments.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take criticism, be open to fixing your pieces! Don't procrastinate, and know it's okay to change topics/stories.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I was super excited to go to this class, and when I got in the professor seemed rather nice, but as the class progressed I realized she was extremely picky on the subjects she wanted you to write, This is not to say she is a bad teacher it's saying that you may get a lower grade if you write a subject she does not care for.

    Course highlights:

The highlight was finally getting to write a story I have been wanting to write for sometime and actually get it critiqued by people. Fellow students definitely were more polite with the critiques while the professor butchered the living heck out of it for being too scifi and not enough drama.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

WRITE A CRIME DRAMA OR ANYTHING WITH ANIMALS! Those are what she likes, she is also into "Adult readings" so if you can write that you can pretty much score an A in this class!
