Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is unlike any other you will get at Broward College. Dr. Corseri is a brilliant man with a sense of humor that illuminates the material. He presents the information in a way that is identical with what you will need for the test.

    Course highlights:

I took both Western Civilization courses and thoroughly enjoyed them both. Learning about the Greeks was indefinitely the most interesting part of the first course. And the renaissance was likely my favorite material in the second course. This course touches on everything from art, philosophy, mythology, geography, and historical figures.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this course, the most important thing you can do is take notes. Dr. Corseri verbatum hands you all the information you will need to succeed on the tests. If you do not take notes, you will surely fail.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took a blended class. We showed up twice a week[Mon,Wed] and did daily assignments that focused on critical thinking practices and went over western civilization topics for our time within class.

    Course highlights:

Definitely how to structure an essay and building an argument able thesis state.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your assignments ahead of time for better classroom preparation. Even if the due date is 7 days away, take initiative and do the assignments. It'll better prepare your for in class lectures.
