    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor was extremely helpful in making sure that students understood the material. The coursework consisted of Discussions, Quizzes, and Assignments, which were very easy. Any one taking this class, should receive an A for their final grade. Be sure to turn in assignments on time and participate in discussions early and you will definitely aced the class!

    Course highlights:

In my opinion, this course was easy and a lot of the material I already knew. However, I learned different discrimination laws, and how to handle many situations from a human resource manager perspective.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class be sure to read the textbook and post early to the discussion board. You can not wait until the due date to post on the discussion board, if you do you will not receive the maximum points. Also, the quizzes allow two attempts and each attempt have a different set of ten questions. No matter what, you should be able to get at least a B with the quizzes because it is pretty simple and basically highlighted in the textbook.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I was unsure of Dr Chin-Loy initially, but grew to love her through the semester. She may initially come across as a tad unorganized with D2L, but don't get thrown - she is awesome! Provides great real life scenarios, very caring, very much "there for you". She has a great personality and its clear she cares about teaching.

    Course highlights:

This course provides a great overview of the role of a human resource manager in the workplace. What rules and guidelines need to be followed and previous cases.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the assignments required early because the professor will provide feedback and allow you to improve your grade if you need help.
