    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

At first glance, this course may seem hard but with Professor Montesarchio, passing this class with an A. She engages the entire class and always has a real-life scenario that compares to the lesson at hand. Many people think that Accounting is all about math and that is why they avoid taking it. The hardest the math gets in this course is adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. The math is simple as long as you know what you're doing with the numbers.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of accounting. I learned about journal entries and how debits and credits work. I also memorized the chart of accounts which has really helped me get through Accounting 2. This class is easy if you pay attention and think analytically.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate! This class was blended so all of the coursework was online. The first assignment is always easier than the second one. The first assignment tests you on the basics, whereas the second assignment tests you on different scenarios. You really have to think on the second assignment and that can be extremely time consuming.
