    Course Overview:

    The professor was 'straight the point', and very helpful with explaining what you needed to improve on within your writings.

    Course highlights:

    I wouldn't really say there were highlights, but I did learn how to elaborate in detail with my composition.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be mentally ready to work on a 5-6 page essay project while doing 2-3 page essays for homework.

    Course Overview:

    This course definitely teaches you how to use writing in a whole other level. You can express so much through a piece of paper that sometimes can be underestimated.

    Course highlights:

    Some highlights of this course is getting the chance to read some good pieces from various authors. It gave students a chance to read different forms of expression that were really inspiring.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Really get a chance to read and understand the different forms of expression and writing. Their are great examples in the textbook that helps ou grasp the in depths of writing as well.

    This was a very enlightening course and freshend up my wiriting skills from high school ten years ago.

    Course highlights:

    I would have to say that the highlight if this class was the thesis statement. It was a huge awakening for me to realize how to properly write thesis statement.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    The best advice I can give anyone on English 1101 is to pay attention to spelling and grammar. Sentence structure was very important in this class.
