Course Overview:
I would definitely recommend this course because it served as an overall summation of every high school math class I have taken; Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, and Pre-Calculus.
Course highlights:
The highlights of the course included the homework assignments which were provided to students as optional assignments. However, I found that these problems helped me retain the information more and it increased my test grades.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Stay on top of the course and make sure you find out when each assignment is due. If you miss one assignment, your grade could suffer in the long run.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Particularly with Mr. Loschak, this math course moved at just the right pace and was a good refresher on algebra learned in high school without being easy. However it isn't hard to pass if you keep up with the homework assignments, and the teacher is very accommodating and helpful and knows exactly how to break down a problem in understandable terms.
Course highlights:
This course taught about dealing with exponents, graphing inequalities, and dissecting word problems to name a few. Basic but essential algebraic processes.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Be respectful, pay attention, keep track of test dates, and use homework assignments to study and practice. The book is a necessity.
Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
It's a great way to apply for a bunch of chances to will. It's a rule of numbers the more you put out the more you recive.
Course highlights:
Patience. Even if you know all of it others might not everyone has had a different path in life and you can't make judgments on things you may get not know.
Hours per week:
0-2 hours
Advice for students:
Do Alex's no matter how easy it is. It's tedious but it really does effect your grade.
