The highlights of this class were the in class discussions about the basics of research including the does and the dont's of conducting research. How to approach and handle ethical dilemmas and following a set of standards set by the IRB Board. Showcasing the foundation of social work research its triumphs and failures to inspire us.

Be prepared to do a lot of necessary research to understand how studies concerning different areas of social work are conducted. Critical thinking is a must in this particular class among others. Credible sources are required which means published work by professionals that is vetted.
