    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a very informative class and is taught by a very good professor.

    Course highlights:

The background to most of the art that we know and love today.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes. They became very useful later in the course. Also, she allowed us to use our notes on every quiz so that was also very helpful too.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course was rather difficult. While in class, Professor Dodge talked about how art is a form of expression and everything can be interpreted differently. However, on the tests, Professor Dodge only looked for answers that matched her opinion.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about different types of art and different artists. While art is not something I normally take interest in, it was a different experience and unlike any other art class I have previously taken.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would wait until each project is assigned before buying the art supplies that are on the supply list. We did not use everything and I felt that I wasted a lot of money at the beginning of the semester.
