Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was interesting, and you learned American History as well as understood it. Some issues such as slavery that continues to be a problem in the twenty-first century. The forefathers made many good decisions such as the constitution and breaking away from Britan. However, some poor decisions were made such as slavery.

    Course highlights:

Professor O'Connell helped you to think about important events, and how they affect Americans today, the good and the bad decisions of our ancestors. The right choices made such as freedom, patriotism, civil rights, and much more. The bad issues such as slavery, greed, and the cultures we destroyed and tried to assimilate different cultures into our belief systems such as the Native Americans. The history of Native American was sad because they helped Columbus upon their arrival to survive, and in return, we stole their land out of greed for their land, decimated their food sources such as Buffalo, gave them smallpox, took their children away from them and destroyed their cultures.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with assignments, read, listen on youtube to his lectures, and do not choose to miss assignments such as the semester movie analysis. I did my video analysis, but those who did not receive a 0 and there was not any extra credit to bring up the 0.
