    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is great for learning how to properly write research essays. Research essays will be written in many college courses, so I believe it is essential to learn how to write them to the best of your ability.

    Course highlights:

In this course, I learned how to write a research essay, find credible sources, and cite my sources.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, you HAVE to put time into your work. My best tip would be to never put your work off until the day before it is due. Researching the topic you are writing about will take time and focus. You must first be educated on your topic before you inform your readers about the topic.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course itself is interesting and helps your writing skills, but the teacher struggled on her teaching style. She would forget to tell us that she assigned homework for us and seemed very unorganized whenever she got to class.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to retrieve proper resources for research essays, which improved my writing style because I had to learn how to incorporate quotes into my essays. I learned to become less redundant with my writing and have less grammar errors.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, you need to be able to do your assignments on time and have a good schedule in order to space out the time you spend writing and preparing your essays. You don't want to be writing the whole essay overnight.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it teaches you how to manage your time efficiently. I have learned to connect my ideas more smoothly than I ever have before.

    Course highlights:

I have learned how to apply my ideas better. I have learned how to write a paper better as well as how to get my point through to the reader more effectively.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

It can be easy to procrastinate sometimes! Just take it one day at a time and do not let yourself get overwhelmed. This was my first college class as a high school student and I can say that I enjoyed it.
