Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's fairly straightforward, and Professor Townsend teaches directly from the textbook.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basic foundation of organic chemistry, which was really useful for studying for the MCAT!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read the textbook and keep up with the material in order to do well on the quizzes in section!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because the professor has a more structured curriculum. He goes into detail and that is the only class that you will be taking so you can fully invest your time into doing well. The TAs are also very helpful if you have any additional questions or concerns but overall the professor is very approachable and wants all his students to succeed in the course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were getting the courses finished during the summer. It is a difficult course so I was very relieved when I finished and I didn't have to worry about taking it during the year. I also got the chance to interact more with the professor so he knew about my aspirations and my goals.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Never fall behind. This course is very intense and needs all the attention you have. It was already difficult enough working an on campus job while taking this course because sometimes it overlapped with office hours. Overall, if you stay on top of the material, ask questions and go to office hours, you will do well in the course.
