    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If this is your very first chemistry class, get ready to do some serious studying outside of class. You are basically expected to teach yourself a lot of the material and get help when you don't get something. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP.

    Course highlights:

You learn all the basic of chemistry, as the course title and description says. You don't go too in depth with anything though.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Sign up for PILOT as soon as possible. It forces you to study and do extra practice problems. When you take exams, don't take too long on any one problem. Time goes by incredibly fast, and you may find that you can't finish the test. Pace yourself and make sure to put valuable information in that cheat sheet.
