Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the class because it is a very good introduction to accounting. It helps people who are undecided to get a baseline of what a business is composed of on a simple scale. Also, the professor is devoted to helping each student. Every class, she is always enthusiastic

    Course highlights:

I learned how to format a balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, and equity statement. I understand credits and debuts and know that they are the basic foundation to any transaction in life. I learned a lot of accounts that are vital on the financial statements like goodwill, accumulated depreciation, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the chapters. Accounting is packed with a lot of information and just showing up to class will not cut it. Always do the homework because it is a good representation of what the tests are like.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it is your basic class to help you with so many other courses such as Intermediate Accounting, Economics classes, and other business classes. Professor Duvall loves the subject and makes sure everyone else loves it almost as much as she does!

    Course highlights:

I learned the basic accounting formula which then leads you into so much more. I was able to prepare financial statements and know how to evaluate the businesses based on different ratios by the end of the class. This class was the class that made me choose Accounting as my major.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest studying a week in advance for her tests. She makes her tests different then the problems we do in class to ensure that we understand the concepts, instead of just memorizing the process.
