    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this course because the instructions are ambiguous and could be interpreted in various ways. It takes time to adjust to the professor's teaching style because his method does not have a specific order, so students have to figure it out on their own.

    Course highlights:

I was able to learn more about the Bible because I had never studied it prior to this course. For years, I have heard various interpretations of the scriptures because they are used to condemn homosexuality and Jews. People were telling me what I should think about the Bible. From this course, I was able to read passages and come up with my own interpretations about these topics. It is liberating to be able to think what I want without being wrong.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would always ask questions and stay on top of the reading. Students should email the professor when they do not understand an assignment or go to the office hours. In addition, I would recommend group study sessions with classmates.
