    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class had a lot of material but as a biology major I definitely thought this course was a great intro into the program.

    Course highlights:

This sounds crazy, but my class had to write a 10-page paper and it was a great experience. As one of the very first classes I took in college and the first of my biology courses, this helped shape my writing skills at a perfect time in my college career - right as it began - and helped me become familiar with literature searches and reviews. So other than the basics like mitosis and evolutionary trees, this course helped introduce necessary skills for the biology major.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely recommend going to see the professor if you're struggling with anything at all. I don't know of any of them who discourage office visits, in fact they sincerely hope you will go see them during office hours. Pay close attention in class because what you hear will probably be on the exam - these professors don't typically test from the textbook. Also, anything written on the board during class is definitely going to be tested - your professor took the time to draw that diagram because it was important, not because they want to show off their art skills.
