Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I absolutely loved this course! I took several child development courses through high school and thought this course would just be a review of everything I had already learned but I was pleasantly surprised by all the new information and opinions I formed through this class.

    Course highlights:

Through this course I learned more about adolescent development of all kinds. We did a project on a topic of our choice and I choose intellectual disabilities. Going into the course I knew nothing about the topic but through the project and following class discussions I learned so much about developmental disabilities and how they affect adolescents.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the readings, take notes, participate in class discussions (don't be afraid to voice your opinion, even if it's different than everyone else's) and don't procrastinate the presentation.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because the topic areas that are covered in the course are very relevant to what is happening in the real world. To add, the professor Michelle Young is very knowledgeable of the material and keeps the class engaged and fun!

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this class was the group presentation, I love presenting and this was great opportunity for me to show my extensive knowledge of the course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell incoming students to take plenty of notes ( they will really help during the final!) and also pay attention to lecture, somethings the book can not teach you! Speaking of books READ it! it is so interesting and helpful if you choose to continue with the major!
