    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it would help you do better on managing your budget and other's so you won't be broke and so won't the other. By "other" I mean the company you will work for.

    Course highlights:

This course sets a solid stage for recording transactions related to securities and company's investments. You will have a chance to build your analyzing skills to make sure your company will profit from your work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You should follow the instructor's guide lines, read and dissect all the materials, then make sure to finish homework by your own until you get it.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Absolutely terrible. Avoid at all costs! She is a terrible lecturer and her tests are 100% essays.

    Course highlights:

I left every midterm thinking I got an upper 90%, only to receive low 80's a week later.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

She is inconsistent with her grading almost to the point that it's illegal.Took this class with a friend and would have same answers and get different scores.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I hate accounting, but UMUC's course is simple. Just turn in your work and participate in discussions.

    Course highlights:

Some of the account principles are useful in business, but there is limited application if this is not your chosen field of study.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your work in advance if possible.
