    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course under Dr. Baker because it was a good class. She is detailed and thorough. She is available for questions and explains everything needed for her class. Dr. Bakers process allowed you to learn something new each week. The class has group work. You sign up for groups. Your group will be as great as the amount of participation you put into it. You will have a group paper to do. She explains early on that she will critique the papers to help you improve as a writer. I appreciated that from her. So you already know what to expect.

    Course highlights:

I had a great experience with my group work. I had no knowledge of Govt or NFP (Not For Profit) accounting prior to this class. Learning what accounts were used and how financial statements were different was intriguing to me. Learning the different rules that they must follow was new as well. Also, seeing what is presented to the public vs. internally was interesting.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, you must put in the time. Read the material, participate in the weekly discussions, do the homework, and ask questions when necessary. Participation in your group is key to the success of the group. Remember you will get evaluated by your peers.
