    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you chose to skip things, do it the correct way and test or assess out with the Dean. This course will help you understand the flow of how intense (or not for those in the field) the course is. Take seriour the team work. Do so because the vaule that you received from those who are in the field in an addition to your learning and understanding. Ask questions. Report all computer issues immediately. Most importantly, do not forget these pointers. Use your online research tools! I can not stress this enough. Use the skills of not copying anything in the Course area as your own. If I wrote it do not write exactly what I said. Change everything to your won words. USE GRAMMATICALLY (not speeled correctly) This is the online grammar and citation checking tool. This tool may cost but is effective for writing on the go. The online resources have sidebar tools to help you cite your findings very well the first time. DICSUSSIONS: ANSWER EVERY QUESTION And REPLY MORE THAN FOUR TIMES BE ACTIVE!!! I didn't have these pointers when I started. So If you are reading this, * Set your first goal to a B-A average and apply to all scholarships and grants. * Print out your animated / lab sessions. * Write or print your lab answers. You usually need them for your projects. * Write and rewrite and use the tutorial services. * join the cyber Padawans early and participate in events on campus if you can. * Presidential Fellows... apply and read the parameters now! * Read everything cyber * Get in somewhere.

    Course highlights:

I gained a new sense of working online alone. Alone can be boring. Challenge your self to meet your reading or session goals with integrity. Honesty study read for about 2-4 hours. Read with a purpose: Use the objectives of the course textbook to ensure your understand. This helps for the certification goals. Questions. Your instructor will answer questions. If you are shy about asking questions, don't be. Be Bold because the other shy person wanted to ask but didn't. Sometimes your classmates will assist you if you post the question in the question area. When your classmates and team mates can answer your questions, they are the best treat you can ever find. Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I learned about my learning habits that needed tweeking to enjoy life and the course. That balance is important for success in the course. Balance what you are doing right now with the mindset of knowing you will need 12 to 25 hours to read and know what you have obtained from your reading. Not a good reader? Start reading anything and talk about it to someone else. Read the newspaper about nay topic and talk about it. That helped me in between classes as well. Timing and balancing is the first step I learning while in this class. I learned how to use the APA Format. I learned that using the Library resource there are tools there to help you build your works cited listing. Be sure to never type, copy or repeat word for word what the author has said. This is the best habit I can say to help you when it is needed most. The tool for checking for plagiarism is very good at identifying and stating where a resource was taken from. There is an algorithm to the searching so it is best to use your own words. If every three to five words equal a match, then there is nothing left to do but change the resource into your own words. Don't risk your success for plagiarism. Lastly, ASK EARLY for what every you need to your instructors. There may be something they can assist you with that you may have missed. Do keep your doctor slips and any personal documentation. If you question a task, it may mean that you need to do it. PRINTOUT EARLY. The material presented for class review can be printed out from pdf format. Printing things out helps to highlight and grasp any missing items. These help to create a better classmate to classmate interaction in the postings. TEACHER POSTINGS - If the teacher posts, follow up and contribute, research it, read about it and use it in the projects. This is my last year and I have found these to be true for the entire route through school online here and anywhere else. Enjoy your new life and talented self growth!
