Stat200 is usually required as a prerequisite to other classes which are required for a major. It helps build a strong foundation for analytics as life-skills and not just some abstract concepts.

methods of sampling; percentiles; concepts of probability; probability distributions; normal, t-, and chi-square distributions; confidence intervals; hypothesis testing of one and two means; proportions; binomial experiments; sample size calculations; correlation; regression; and analysis of variance (ANOVA)
