    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

In this class, you will be learning that to keep an organization secure that are several steps that need to be taken in order to be properly secured, that if the technical aspect are secured but there are no physical counter measures you are still vulnerable to attacks.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed the course, it made me put my thinking cap on again and bring me down to reality. As I have been working on networks for quite some time, I may have been a bit overconfident, but quickly realized, I had to put forth effort, as I am rusty in areas. I put many hours into reading and researching, and I would not change that. I like to learn everything about networking, and I enjoyed the class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I came into this class knowing that it was not going to be easy. I have a pretty good grasp on CCNA- level routing and switching, which did help to a degree. I did get a much better understanding of how to manipulate traffic in this class. I honestly had NO idea that there was so much that could be done to influence traffic flow!!! I am still very shaky on BGP, but from I gather it is the hardest protocol to work with. I watched an almost 2-hour You Tube tutorial (by routergods) and got a lot of good information, but that protocol is a doozy!
