This course is challenging. There is a substantial amount of reading and essay writing. The group project gets you to apply knowledge of biotechnology to a real world scenario.

The group project provided a way to apply knowledge gained in the course and expand what you learned. In a team you will work through a business solution to come up with a successful plan to manufacture a drug or biologic.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Play close attention to you readings even the optional work. Make sure that you research outside of what the professor provides. Be thorough in your essays and take the discussion boards seriously.
