Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was a great introduction to journalism and the different writing style techniques needed to be successful. I would strongly recommend any new journalist writers to take this course as an introduction to the craft!

    Course highlights:

The portion of the course where we studied town hall meeting was refreshing and practical. It helped us stay on our toes and report on real life events that have effected communities.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the time to do it right! It isn't a course to be taken lightly. I was taking three courses at the same time as this one and it was overwhelming. I would recommend that you take the time to really focus on this course and lessen plan.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed this class, I think taking this class will not only help individuals strengthen their writing skills but also help them when it comes to reading the news. Today there is a lot of propaganda, This course will help you filter out the truth when you read news articles.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much I had never known about journalism and what exactly it takes to be considered a GOOD journalist.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Have an open mind when it comes to the topics you have to write about. Think outside the box. Also don't be biased when you are presenting your information.
