    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't fall behind. Be clear on the subjects before you move on.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for everyone because statistics is not just about math but it teaches students about being a good consumer when it comes understanding how accurate are the results of national studies. It gives people a chance to trust their own judgment and not lean so much on news reports and what someone else says.

    Course highlights:

I gained a new understanding of why it is important when doing research to give all information. For example on how samples were chosen and why statistics is not absolute it is a study of probability and how likely a result will occur.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course the student has to be willing to go the extra mile and read extra material and practice by doing the mathematical side over and over again. It is very important to keep up with assignments and really listen to the professor. If there is something you do not understand never feel intimidated to ask questions until you do.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Math has never been my strong subject and this course is challenging and time-consuming.

    Course highlights:

I am walking away with a lot of knowledge on statistic and how to conduct different kinds of tests.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Honestly, prepare to work. This class isn't an easy one but as long as you stay on top of the work and do the readings required you should be fine. If you have questions then ask them don't be afraid to because you feel like you look stupid.
