    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

While the class has a great deal of good information on the various forms of domestic violence, nearly all of the course material is outdated. In fact, the newest information was from the year 2002, but most of it was from the 90's. I did learn a few things, but I worry the information I learned has changed in recent years.

    Course highlights:

I learned various ways to recognize an abuser, as well as the abused. In addition, I learned a moderate amount of psychology related to why an individual may be an abuser, as well as why an individual is among the ranks of the abused, and continue to be so.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this course until the course material is updated. I will admit, if you know nothing about domestic violence, it may be worth your time. I'm certain the gist of the information learned is still accurate.
