This is a challenging course that is great for strengthening critical thinking skills, particularly in an organizational setting. It covers a variety of communication theories and organizational communication challenges, increases cultural competency in communication, and teaches students how to conduct a communication audit within an organization.
This course really changed the way that I think of other cultures, and pushed me to think more critically, particularly in the way of communication and how it directly affects an organizations performance and productivity. What were the highlights of this course? What

Advice for students:
Pay attention to the specific course outcomes and relate all material covered each week back to those outcomes, because they will be needed for the final paper. The final term paper is broad and allows a lot of autonomy, but it can be overwhelming if you do not start thinking about it and evaluating what you've learned from early on.
