Not too easy. Not too difficult.
As most people know, Midterm season is one of the most stressful seasons for students. Having a site like coursehero.com where one can come to get help without leaving the comfort of their home is extremely helpful. I am most thankful for the study resources that I have found here with Course Hero. Being able to have a study guide handy at all times really helps out when trying to remember all the important points from class. Study guides are often broken down into subject areas, and most modern study guides have you take a pre-assessment test before you delve into a specific section covered on the exam. Pre-assessment tests help gauge how much you know as well as what specific areas you need to work on. They also help you determine how much time you need to put aside for studying. It’s nearly impossible to devise your own pre-assessment. Your study guide will provide questions in a similar format as your exam so that you will know what to expect when the powers-that-be hand you the exam. No, they won’t be the exact same questions you will find on the exam, but they will cover the same content and be presented in the same structure. This is helpful because it gives insight into how long it takes you to answer multiple choice questions versus answering an essay question or whatever other exam format you may encounter. Knowing how much time to allot yourself during an exam is advantageous, and will help ease the common worry that you won’t have enough time to finish. (We also recommend simulating the exam-taking experience further by relocating to an environment like the one where you will be taking the exam. A quiet library is a good option.)
