    Course Overview:

    Professor Stanger is truly passionate about the subject and it reflects in the syllabus.

    Course highlights:

    I liked being able to choose my own research topic and explore how to do the research through different content.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    It is an online class that you will actually work hard and feel deserving of the grade you receive.

    Course highlights:

    I gained a deeper understanding and perspective of the United States in the years prior to the Revolutionary War to the Civil War. The professor engages in every discussion and encourages students to collaborate.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do the work and read the assigned text. There are no multiple choice tests or quizzes. It is strictly based on how well you know the material.

    I learned in depth about the culture of America when America was growing up.
