    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a very comprehensible class. The professor will give you a lot of work and there is a ton of reading. The amount of reading is too much for a 7 day period. He is a very slow grader and a hard grader. It is very hard to get an A unless your papers are perfect.

    Course highlights:

The information that he gives you is very helpful. Hopefully you are a fast reader because you will not have much time to do the reading. Make sure you can comprehend your reading in a short period of time.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read, read, and do more reading. You much complete your discussion questions on time and respond to your classmates each week. There will be two to three discussions each week and you will be required to reply back to two classmates for each of the discussions.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Make use of Office Hours! Profs and TAs are exactly that because they know their stuff, and they're extremely willing to help you out.

    Course highlights:

Although C is becoming increasingly rare, it is still the lingua franca of working programmers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

But DO spend time in the labs, get to know people, ask questions, and have fun. ... You take classes with the same group of people anyway, so make life easier and help each other out."
