    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Being that I do not have the most interest in biology, I found the large amount of reading material and studying overwhelming at times.

    Course highlights:

The basics of biology are stated and definitely good to know.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Expect to stay busy in the class

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it will give you a different outlook on what and how biology works

    Course highlights:

I gained and in depth outlook on things as far, how biology affects humans, environment, I only thought of it as dealing with animals, but taking this class gave me some good insight

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Have to put in the work to get results, even though the class is difficult be willing to be open minded. Most off study and do the work it will pay off in the end.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'm rather indifferent--since the course was a program requirement, I can't say that I would recommend it. However, if I were to be complimentary, I would say that the course has some basic biology concepts that we should all understand. However, it does go a lot deeper into the topic after that. This can be overwhelming for a non-biology major. Be sure to read the materials.

    Course highlights:

The lab experiments were a learning experience, but very time-consuming. My course required a lab experiment each week for 7 weeks. Each lab will require about 3-4 hours of your time. The lab experiments require that you document the lab and results in a formal way. Pictures of the experiment are also required, so there is really no way around it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure you do the reading in addition to using Course Hero. Not all answers are exact. That said, Course Hero was absolutely awesome in allowing me to confirm some of the conclusions I had from the reading. Again, just be careful because sometimes people will post incorrect answers, so you have to have a general understanding of the course content.
