Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course taught me why sociology matters and how societal factors influence our everyday lives. My professor did a wonderful job relating the Sociological theories in a way that us students can distinguish it in our lives.

    Course highlights:

I learned hat the past is responsible for all aspect of our current generation. If we want to illustrate change to our society as Americans we must all work together. That's the beauty of sociology, it always has to be a team effort. We must promote change to see a difference. The course opened my eye to another way of looking at my life and the lives of others. I want to make a difference.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Remember the most important goal is to be able to interpret it in a way you can only understand. This course is enlightening.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Coming into your freshman year of college , and having undecided as a major is perfectly fine. It gives you time to just worry about your general classes and get good grades. When it's your freshman year some people don't really know what they want to do yet , they tend to switch up a lot like me . But when I took sociology my first semester it made really think what I wanted to major in.

    Course highlights:

Sociology was ab amazing class. I learned so much and I really enjoyed it. The teacher that I had which was Aiyda Evans was a great professor. Taking this class really made me come to an conclusion on what I want my major to be. This class talked about life, race , kids, adults , just everything . But the main thing that really helped me decide my major was the professor. Her just being herself and her stories that she would share inspired me. Another thing she pushed you and made sure you succeed in her class . If she had to come your dorm room to come get you to come to class or to study she would do it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Taking notes , study , and if you ever need help with anything just go to her, because she will help you . But taking notes and paying attention will help you succeed very well in that class.
