    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to get a better understanding of writing and literature. However, it is a mandatory course for the Naval Academy so there really is no choice.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were in the novel discussions that we had. Professor Ward would get really deep into the discussions and most of the time it would be pretty interesting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Most of this class was graded based on our writing. Definitely get others to review your essays before submitting to ensure that you get a better grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is what solidified my decision of becoming an English major.

    Course highlights:

This was a very interactive class. It was not all a lecture; there was discussion and interaction at all times. I learned a new way to view America, our ideals, and beliefs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings in class. Pay attention and participate in the class discussions; do not be afraid to speak your mind but always in a professional way. Work hard on papers and assignments. Do not be afraid to go in for EI with Doctor and get feedback.
