    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

As this course is required I don't really have a say in whether or not I would recommend it.

    Course highlights:

Chem 1 and 2 are in my opinion some of the most difficult classes during plebe year. Who you have as a professor makes all the difference. Even though you don't get too much of a choice first semester, talk with your shipmates and find out who is a good professor and try to get them for the spring semester. Having a good professor makes all the difference in this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study A LOT. If you are good at chemistry these classes should be a breeze. However if you struggle with it or haven't taken it in high school Chem 1 and 2 will be the death of you. Set up EI with your professor if you need help and go to MGSP as often as you can.
