    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I felt my professor was highly knowledgeable of the subject and made it easy and interesting for me to learn. I especially enjoyed my access to past exams and practice tests.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me included the opportunity to interact with my classmates. By studying with them and learning the material as a group I gained valuable skills I will use later in life. I also thought that Professor Melles' problem secessions were helpful because we worked problems on the board from homework and were able to receive feedback.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to complete the homework and spend time working practice problems before tests and quizzes. Before every exam I also worked al if the problems from old exams available online and found this to be extremely helpful. Ultimately it takes diligence and hard work.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course since it provides the mathematics basics for the physical world around us. By utilizing complex processes, we as individuals can characterize our world by using numbers and models alone.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were in the breakthroughs made in understanding the concepts of our world through mathematics. This is laid out in how fluid flows and how electricity is affected by objects using the refined methods of calculus. This course taught me the most since not only do I know the concept, but I know the real world application as well.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To students taking this course on make sure you stay attentive and utilize diagrams in order to understand the topics discussed. Train your mind to visualize what is being described and confirm your assumptions with actual calculations and investigations into the topic.
