    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because students are challenged to think and apply information in class on exams

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the applications of chemistry and thinking critically about solving problems in a scientific way. I've learned how to work in groups and improve on my test taking skills.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to work in study groups for this class. I also suggest to visit office hours to assure your progress in the class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because at UMBC, a science course is required in order to excel in many of the majors and at UMBC. Although the teacher is hard, she prepares you for the hardest questions, ensuring that you understand the material.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course are being able to work with so many students. The concept of the course is to learn from others and to teach others ensuring that all the information is being processed and understood.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

One of the main tips to succeed is to work with groups when assigned work. Study groups help reinforce known information and help learn new information.
